José Luiz Antunes de Oliveira e Sousa Has B. Eng. degree (Civil
Engineering) from University of São Paulo at São Carlos (1975), MSc. degree
from University of São Paulo at São Paulo (1984), PhD. degree from Cornell
University (1992). Developed a Post-Doctoral program at Universitat
Politècnica de Catalunya (2002). Currently is Full Professor at University of
Campinas. Published 13 journal papers, 2 book chapters, 60 proceeding papers.
Supervised 7 MsC. Dissertations, 3 PhD. Theses, one three-year Post-Doctoral
Program, and co-supervised 3 MsC. dissertations. Coordinates 4 research
projects and is Main Researcher of a Multi-Institutional Thematic Project. Is
the Editor in Chief of the IBRACON Structure and Materials Journal since
2006. Has experience in Civil Engineering, focusing on Structural Mechanics,
acting on the following subjects: Concrete, Fracture Mechanics, Numerical
Analysis, Inverse Analysis, Finite Elements, Hydraulic Fracturing. |
