04.27.12 | Deadline to submit the revised version of accepted papers is April 29^th!  | Authors shall email the revised version of their papers directly to the scientific coordinator [sasbe2012.scientific@gmail.com]. Please make sure to complete the registration payment by May 15_^th to secure your publication and presentation slot! Brazilian delegates shall use payment title [boleto bancario] for direct payment at Brazilian banks. Foreign delegates may use wire transfer or international credit card. Instructions and respective links are available at the Registration section.

If your paper was accepted, you will soon receive a letter indicating the requested revision, if any. Please re-submit the revised version in .doc or .docx format. Please also make sure to upload the publishing agreement by the final submission of the revised version of your paper, if you have not done it already.

03.27.12 | Best paper award sponsored by SASBE journal  | To celebrate its launch at SASBE2012, a best paper award will be offered by Emerald Group Publishing Limited's SASBE Journal. The award is composed by a £100 cash prize, publication in SASBE - subject to peer review-, a framed certificate and a free subscription to SASBE Journal for one year!

12.09.11 | Deadlines | The abstracts deadline was December 9^th, 2011. We received a considerable number of abstracts from over 20 countries! However, we continued to receive requests from academics willing to participate, and decided to keep our online submission system open for abstracts until December 23^rd and to consider submission of complete papers on selected subjects by February 20^th, even if an abstract was not submitted in this first round.

11.15.11 | SASBE2012 is now a Continental Automated Buildings Association [CABA] endorsed event! | SASBE2012 has just been endorsed by CABA. CABA is a not-for-profit industry organization that seeks to encourage the development and understanding of home and building automation.
